The Seattle Times announces its new deal-of-the-day site, DealDIGGER, which connects local businesses’ 50 percent to 80 percent off deals to consumers.

“The Seattle Times dealDIGGER will be a great way for consumers in our market to find products and services at extraordinary savings,” Alan Fisco, Seattle Times senior vice president for Sales and Marketing, said in a news reelase. “This new product also allows local area businesses to reach out to consumers who may be unaware of their offerings and to build sales and product awareness.”

What can you say about this. Golfing is out of control! With the latest press releases and Tiger Woods stories, people are running to the sport and wanting great deals daily. IDealGolfer.com is pushing up daily deals for sports finest and pulling in great numbers. We foresee this group buying niche to expand quickly by word of mouth and around the courses.

Currently, iDealGolfer.com only offers specials for the Dallas and Fort Worth areas, but soon the site will start offering similar deals in the Texas Hill Country on December 1, followed by discounts in Houston, Colorado, and Phoenix soon after.

Oh, and one other thing: an inside source says a well-known, three-lens sunglasses system designed for golfers will be the deal of the day sometime next week. The price? Under $20.

Philly.com launched the new sub-brand “dealyo”. We were amazed at the design of the site the philly came up with. We handed them a blank template and within days they launched an amazing front end with group buying integrated. Soon we will be having more templates to choose from that will expand merchants creativity. Our merchant tool is being updated daily with features.( shh..secret).

Wow, what a start. The Knot has started with some very large vacation deals and working on many others daily. This has been a great easy integration and the brand is starting to take off.
